Mossy Oaks RV PArk in Jesup, Georgia
Here is a photo of our rig, taken at a rest stop in SC or GA. I forget which.

Home sweet home ... wherever it may be.
We have moved on, driving further into spring in Georgia, where we are staying at the Mossy Oaks RV Park. According to Passport America they have wifi, something we always look for when we are paying to stay, but in fact they do not. It was time to get our trailer’s network connected via 3G, and we’ve done that. Signing up with Verizon with a Canadian address is no simple thing, but after a few hours of effort and two tries we managed it and we are now online without wifi.
The campsite is quite different than the last one. It’s a good 15 minute drive to the nearest small town, and as a result the campground is near silent. It must be beautiful when the plants are in full leaf, and it’s quite nice even now, and a touch exotic to strangers like ourselves. The woods are filled with what in Canada would be sold as a house plant, and many of the trees are covered with spanish moss.

Mossy Oak
We took a pleasant stroll last night and were surprised when three pigs ran across the path. Apparently “Wild hogs” are quite a nuisance here, and the folks who run this place trap them.
The colours here are pretty flat at this time of the year. Much like early spring in Ontario, everything is grey and brown, with bits of green here and there. I’m not sure if I’ll find a good photographic subject. Time will tell.

Isn’t Spanish Moss beautiful? I just know you are having a wonderful time. I wish I could ride along with you!
